We are happy to share the success story of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (DRL) at their FTO SEZ – Processing Unit – 02 in Srikakulam. has achieved IGBC Green Factory Gold.
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, a global pharmaceutical giant, is dedicated to providing affordable and innovative medicines for healthier lives. Their committed team, known for their expertise and unwavering dedication, has been pivotal in championing sustainability initiatives and setting industry standards for environmental stewardship.
This is the 8th Project with Conserve Consultants as their trusted sustainability partner, Conserve Consultants has been instrumental in guiding DRL towards achieving remarkable green building milestones.
Project Highlights:🌟
IGBC Green Factory Re-Certification: Achieved Gold level with 74 points.
✅Energy Efficiency: Achieved around 31% energy savings compared to the IGBC benchmark through measures like Low-E glass, roof & wall insulations, low lighting power density, and energy-efficient HVAC systems.
✅Water Management: 100% of runoff water from both roof and non-roof areas is harvested through a 100 KL tank and two ponds with a total capacity of 1500+ cum.
✅Sustainable Landscaping: Over 90% of the landscape is innovatively designed with drought-tolerant plant species.
✅Waste Diversion: Agreement in place to divert 100% of on-site waste from landfills.
✅Indoor Air Quality: Production and office spaces are provided with 30% excess fresh air, enhancing the indoor environment for employee health and wellbeing.
✅Sustainable Transportation: Shuttle facility for 47% of employees, significantly reducing scope 3 emissions.
✅EV Charging Facilities: Installed as per IGBC norms.
Water Use Reduction: Achieved over 40% reduction in indoor water use with efficient low-flow fixtures and fittings.
