1. We identified that our client indirectly contributed high emissions from purchase of emission-intensive process equipment and building infrastructure (Category 1 & 2). They are now proactively evaluating their supply chain to reduce environmental impact through vendor evaluation well before the procurement stage
2. Recognizing high emissions from purchased electricity from grid (Scope 2) and its associated T&D losses (Category 3), we recommended on-site establishment of renewable energy solutions, which ultimately led to saving operational costs and staying ahead of regulatory changes.
3. By identifying transportation emission hotspots both in the upstream and in the downstream through (Category 4 & 9), the client is now planning to gradually switch to an EV fleet, enhancing their transition risk management.
4. Tracking of emissions from waste generation during their operation (Category 5), and our recommendations to improve resource efficiency and our suggestions to invest in new technologies like ZLD, OWC, and WTE, is helping our client realize cost savings up to 15% through a circular economy approach.
5. Our client with more than 800 employees, mitigated their travel-related emissions by incentivizing EV commutes for their employees, installing on-site charging stations, and optimizing travel policies for reduced emissions.
